Dr. Derek Chan graduated from New York University earning his Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2019 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2022. After spending 7 years in New York, he decided to return to Toronto to practice dentistry and to bring a new global perspective to ALFIE Dentistry.

Dr. Derek’s insatiable curiosity compels him to continue learning in all aspects of dentistry. He is particularly interested in digital dentistry, implant surgeries, and the field of aesthetics.

Dr. Derek is committed to providing the best care that he can for his patients. His calming demeanour and communication skills along with his keen eye for detail have made him a favourite in the eyes of his patients.

Dr. Derek is a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry and is constantly pursuing new continuing education courses to further develop customized solutions for his patients' individual needs.
